Hey fellow fan fic addicts, 

Some great new stuff to feed your appetite tonight! 

GENERAL FICTION: LIKE CHAKRAM FOR CHOCOLATE (The Lurkers - Rastro 
and Maddog) 
If you thought Rastro and Maddog were funny after reading 
SYNCHRONIZATION BETWEEN FRIENDS, you're going to think BRILLIANT 
after reading this second effort. In the words of Caesar, with this 
new tale the Lurkers *define* themselves as two of the nuttiest...
and most hilarious bards in the Xenaverse!! This is actually beyond 
hilarious! Maintaining the PMS theme of their first story, the 
Lurkers here have Xena and Gabby meet up with a lost band of Aztecs 
who as a peace gesture decide to share a mysterious dark powder 
with the Gabster, showing her how to make a muddy mixture with it 
that is guaranteed to cure the Warrior Princess' "pissy" behavior. 
The poor Aztecs never suspect, however, the - er - rather strong 
effect their concoction will have on the bard who after tasting it 
is suddenly convinced the mixture is better than sex!...THIS IS A 
MUST READ!!

THE DILEMMA (by Eimajj) 
A short epilogue to the recent episode THE PRICE which has Gabby 
helping Xena come to terms with what happened back in the Athenian 
fort during the battle with the Horde. Nicely written and emotional.

ALTERNATIVE FICTION: THE SUITOR (by B L Miller) 
Another EXCELLENT offering by B L Miller, albeit a cruel one!! If 
you're like me, you're going to be squirming while you read this 
story which features a serious challenge of the heart for Xena from 
a beautiful Amazon with many skills of her own who is determined to 
win the affections of a certain bard. This is a different sort of 
tale in which Gabrielle is forced to examine her feelings for the 
Warrior Princess even as Xena is faced with the incomprehensible 
possibility of losing the love of her life.

I DREAM OF XENA (by Watcher) 
Fun crossover story for those Xenites who are also fans of the X-Files. 
Scully is intrigued by a new show on TV featuring a heroic female 
warrior and her spunky staff-wielding companion. Her interest soon 
turns to shock, however, when she finds herself in the world of the 
Warrior Princess, helping Xena and Gabby fight the bad guys and 
discovering that the two are much more than just friends.

THE FIRST OF DESTINY (by Mil Toro) Bittersweet tale in which a Xena, 
now happy with Gabrielle, remembers the first young woman who touched 
her heart many moons ago - the mysterious stowaway who showed her 
many of the skills she now possesses and then surrendered her life to 
save her from a Roman arrow.

For those of you reading this post who are not familiar with the 
term alternative (alt.), it refers to ADULT stories that add a 
romantic element to the relationship between Xena and Gabby, depicting 
them as more than just friends.
