**CHILDHOOD'S END by Anon
At LAST we have the long-awaited return to the Web of one of the BEST and most deligthful XWP stories ever written! Anon originally released CHILDHOOD'S END on the Forum in early 1996 but it has been impossible to access the story for months now since the NetForum staff disabled access to older postings. With it now going up at one of the fan fic archives, Xenites will hopefully be able to enjoy this tale for years to come. This story is the cutest of the cutest! Xena as a five year old - need I say more? It is a beautiful tale of friendship, sacrifice, innocence lost and innocence regained. Anon has been re-editing the story and is not completely finished yet so only part of it is now available. CHILDHOOD'S END was the first piece of fan fiction I ever read so it holds a special place in my heart. It got me hooked on the NetForum and on fan fic. A MUST READ! It receives my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!! - 108 pgs., 11/96, re-released 4/19/97

LEGACY by Anon
This talented veteran returns with a sensitively written, nostalgic story that serves as a reminder of the wonderful quality literature has to be different things to different people and to give immortality to those special souls that make a difference. Set in a tavern, the story chronicles a conversation between the famous Blind Bard of Ancient Greece, Homer, and a stranger as Homer recalls the beautiful, gifted young bard he once met at the Academy years before and wonders whether her stories and his own will live on as a lasting legacy to who they were and the lives they touched. This is a very nice little tale featuring an insightful commentary about life and literature along with a thoughtful tribute to a great historical figure and a couple of very memorable fictional ones. DO NOT MISS! - 10 pgs., 12/15/99

PARALLELS by Anon
One of my favorite bards returns with an exceptional new story that offers some fascinating insights into the current rift storyline. Set after the events in the episode GABRIELLE'S HOPE, this tale has a forlorn and emotionally drained Gabrielle showing up at Cyrene's inn in Amphipolis to wait for Xena while the warrior takes care of some trouble. Sensing the bard's distress, Xena's mother tries to get her to reveal what is wrong never suspecting the horror Gabrielle has gone through or the ironic twist of fate that now makes the innkeeper and bard kindred spirits of sorts. As is the case with all of Anon's stories, this is beautifully written with well-developed characterizations and a gripping, poignant plot. This is a particularly satisfying read in that it provides the emotional bridge from GABRIELLE'S HOPE to THE DEBT we never saw on TV. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 14 pgs., 11/20/97

**STORYTELLER by Anon
OUTSTANDING story featuring our two heroines on a grand adventure with Hercules and Iolus. Surprisingly it's Gabby who takes the spotlight...and she deserves it! The tale has Hera imprisoning the Muses forcing our heroes to plan a rescue mission. Anon presents us here with one of the best characterizations of the bard I've seen in XWP fan fiction and a treatment of the friendship between warrior and bard that is extremely satisfying! One of the most enjoyable stories I've ever read, it receives my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION! - 38 pgs., 10/96
