**LOVE'S HONOR by Becky Lutzke (deanlu)
Wonderful action-packed story centering almost exclusively on Xena and the Gabster with the bard actually taking the spotlight. This is a tale about being an Amazon, the responsibilities and dangers that come with being part of the Nation. Deanlu introduces a character that is to Gabrielle what Callisto is to Xena. [Originally released on the NetForum] - 30 pgs., 10/96

**MURDER AT THE ACADEMY OF THE PERFORMING ARTS by Becky Lutzke (deanlu)
WONDERFUL! A mystery story with lots of characters from the XWP episode in which Gab is at the academy. This is a wild, suspenseful ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat 'til the very end. As a plus it features a terrific depiction of the friendship between our two fearless heroines. A MUST READ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! - 56 pgs., 12/96

**SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY by Christine Toups and Becky Lutzke
Riveting story which begins with Xena and Gabrielle parting company for a short while so each can visit their respective families. It is a decision the warrior will live to regret as unbeknownst to her Gabrielle is quickly plunged into the worst nightmare of her life - a nightmare which soon enough will become Xena's own. In these final chapters, the warrior fights a deadly menace for her friend's life and a foe becomes an unlikely ally. Becky and Christine do a great job here of tying the story with events shown in the TV series - particularly the episode DREAMWOKER. With lots of twists and turns, this is a well-written, suspenseful drama poised to test the Xena/Gab friendship. DO NOT MISS! - 123 pgs., 11/17/97

**SLOW POISON by Becky Lutzke
This talented bard is back with a very promising new story. It begins with a shadowy figure stalking Gabrielle who is telling stories at an inn while waiting for Xena who's away on a mission. By the time the Warrior Princess gets back, Gabrielle is nursing an injury that doesn't seem to be healing. Still unfinished, this is well-written and suspenseful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! [unfinished] - 11/9/97

**THOUGHTS OF A BARD by Becky Lutzke -- [Alt]
This veteran talent delivers a hauntingly beautiful little piece here as a bard offers a tribute to the strength of an old friend, sensing in the endurance of its spirit an immortality to mirror the eternal love between two soulmates. Set twenty years after an ex-warlord first met a determined youngster from Poteidaia, this is a peaceful meditation from a happy and grateful heart. Lovely. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 2 pgs., 1/9/99

WHISPERS IN THE DARK by Becky Lutzke
A moving if sometimes disturbing tale set after the events in the episode ONE AGAINST AN ARMY which has Gabrielle trying to survive a harrowing ordeal in a Persian dungeon - still holding on to the hope that Xena escaped the fire set by Persian soldiers to the barn they took refuge in back in Tripolis. Amidst the cold emptiness of that dungeon a voice in the dark reaches out to the bard, encouraging her to hold on even when all seems lost. Known for her courageous, strong depictions of Gabrielle, Deanlu once again delivers in this haunting story an admirable depiction of the bard. DO NOT MISS! - 10 pgs., 6/21/98
