AND WATER'D HEAVEN WITH THEIR TEARS... by Cheaza -- [Alt]
Set during and just after the events in the episode IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE this is a touching story about recognizing love and opening one's heart to it. Very nice. - 6 pgs., 6/14/98

**DID HE WHO MADE THE LAMB MAKE THEE? by Cheaza -- [Alt]
I don't think I've read a story this heart-wrenching since Peribear's THE BEST IN LOVE so before tackling it make sure to arm yourself with a multitude of kleenex boxes. Cheaza gives us in this tale an alternate culmination to the rift that does not involve singing, tarot symbols or illusions. Instead we get the stark reality of a friendship in ruins, a heart in pieces and a mind overwhelmed by a guilt so complete that it simply sinks into insanity. This is an utterly dark, gut-wrenching piece featuring descriptions of sexual violence, rough language and containing some REALLY disturbing scenes. Packing an emotional wallop, this hurt/comfort story is *NOT* for everyone but if you have a strong constitution and appreciate angst it is certainly a thought-provoking read that comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 19 pgs., 3/10/98

**WHAT THE HAND DARE SEIZE THE FIRE? by Cheaza -- [Alt]
Taking some liberties with the events depicted in the episode REMEMBER NOTHING, this story exudes raw emotion as it chronicles Gabrielle's thoughts in the hours following her escape from slavery. The Gabrielle depicted here is a young woman scarred both physically and emotionally, who desperately wants to believe in the golden savior of her dreams but is too terrified to accept the love being offered by the incarnation of that savior. Deeply poignant this is a MUST READ for anyone who was touched by the story told in REMEMBER NOTHING. - 6 pgs., 3/23/98

WHEN THE STARS THREW DOWN THEIR SPEARS by Cheaza -- [Alt]
Cheaza's second offering tonight is a sentimental first-time story set during the early days of the Xena/Gab friendship that paints a very innocent, trusting picture of the bard and a rather vulnerable, uncertain one of the Warrior Princess. The combination gives way to a very emotional story in which neither can deny the feelings they share any longer. Lots of angst in an engrossing read. - 9 pgs., 3/23/98
