**DELICATE DIPLOMACY by G.L. Dartt
The Voyager crew encounter one of their biggest challenges in this third installment in the MILLENNIUM SERIES when they agree to what at first seems a rather routine diplomatic mission - arbitrating the trading negotiations between two different species. Anxious to trade but mysteriously offended by the neighboring Iboneb, the Okunda people ask Janeway to carry out the negotiations on their behalf. Willing to help and assuming the problem is probably some minor cultural difference, the captain agrees only to discover too late that the ensuing negotiations will be the most difficult she's ever been involved in - impacting on her at a very personal level and testing her relationship with her spouse in ways it's never been tested before. Amusing in parts but quite thought-provoking in others, this latest offering from G.L. is true to the tradition of Star Trek in how it uses an alien encounter to make us think about our society and human nature itself. The Janeway/Seven relationship is nicely center-staged while the supporting cast, particularly the new Voyager members, are developed further. A solid read, this one comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 44 pgs.,

DEFINING DUTY by G.L. Dartt
The fourth entry in the MILLENNIUM SERIES finds Janeway and her crew implementing duty changes and trying to get past personnel and personal issues as Ro and B'Elanna agree to try to work with their half-Cardassian first officer, Commander Zar deals with his growing obsession with the impossible, Paris and his fighters learn an important lesson and Janeway comes to a new understanding of herself and her partner. This addition to the series establishes further the new dynamics at play between these characters and helps to setup some of the coming storylines. Another well-written entry. - 44 pgs., 8/1/01

**DIFFICULT DECISIONS by G. L. Dartt
The MILLENNIUM SERIES continues with a harrowing emotional challenge for Janeway as she finds herself having to make a choice between sacrificing a few or risking her whole crew. In the process, she comes to a realization about herself that enlightens her mind but horrifies her heart, revealing a truth already well-known by the young Borg that loves her beyond reasoning. G.L. tackles some difficult issues in this latest chapter of the Voyager saga - taking the Janeway/Seven relationship to a new level of understanding and setting the stage for even more difficult decisions to come. Another well-conceived addition to a terrific series. DO NOT MISS! - 38 pgs., 2/15/02

DUBIOUS HONOR by Vaxen
In yet another response to what has quickly become one of the most "inspirational" Voyager episodes ever, FAIR HAVEN, the captain inadvertently learns more about herself than she intended when she asks her resident Borg to help her with some modifications to the hologram Michael O'Sullivan. A nicely written godsend for subtexters with some amusing moments - DO NOT MISS! - 4 pgs., 1/24/00

**ELEMENTS SERIES by Vaxen - Read in the order listed below.

  1. ELEMENT OF TRUTH by Vaxen

  3. ELEMENT OF DANGER by Vaxen
Seven decides to court the Captain of Voyager as the two take the first tentative steps toward a relationship but fate soon intervenes making Janeway realize the truth of that old adage warning that you don't know what you have until you lose it. 4. ELEMENT OF REALITY by Vaxen
The fourth entry in Vaxen's ELEMENTS SERIES revisits the alternate universe the original series and others since then have depicted where Star Trek regulars have exact doubles with VERY different personalities. This time around Voyager goes on the alert when the Janeway from that alternate universe kidnaps their Captain intent on finding a way for her own crew to get home. What the Captain finds is a Voyager ruled by fear, intrigue and brute strength where her friends have turned into enemies and one Annika Hansen is little more than a servant. Fascinating premise in an emotional storyline. DO NOT MISS! - 7 pgs., 1/24/00

  5. ELEMENT OF CHOICE by Vaxen
Janeway and Seven are faced with a life or death decision in the fifth entry in the ELEMENTS SERIES when a cave in traps them both resulting in a serious injury and a heartbreaking dilemma for the Borg. High drama makes this the most poignant offering in the series to date. DO NOT MISS! - 10 pgs., 1/24/00

  6. **ELEMENT OF INNOCENCE by Vaxen
The sixth entry in the ELEMENTS SERIES has Janeway, Seven and the Voyager crew doing double duty as baby sitters - a task made a taaaad more complicated because the bundle of joy in question happens to be a teenage Q. Vaxen delivers a delightful little story here with charming characterizations and some scenes guaranteed to leave you with one big grin. Very cute. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 10 pgs., 1/24/00

  7. ELEMENT OF CONTROL by Vaxen
The Captain and Seven return to the alternate universe they first encountered in ELEMENT OF REALITY to help Annika Hansen, Tom Paris and a group of rebels in their fight against the Admiral's tyranny. Part seven in the ELEMENTS SERIES develops the characters from the alternate universe a bit more in an entertaining, action-driven storyline. - 10 pgs., 1/24/00

  8. ELEMENT OF DOUBT by Vaxen
On a remote planet in a mostly uninhabited area of space the Voyager crew come across one of their most remarkable finds yet - an encounter that will have Seven reconsidering who and what she is and will have Janeway wondering just what may be best for her beloved Borg. A very clever storyline and intense drama make for yet another quality entry in the ELEMENTS SERIES. - 10 pgs., 1/24/00
    http://www.geocities.com/pwaxen/doubt.htm

  9. **ELEMENT OF DREAMS by Vaxen
Love saves the day in more ways than one in Vaxen's ninth addition to the ELEMENTS SERIES as Seven wakes up from her regeneration cycle to find Voyager in the hands of aliens and her crew mates making to permanently inhabit an alien planet. This is a tribute to an episode from the original Star Trek, only with a very clever little twist. Nice, fast-paced writing and some wonderfully funny moments make this one a MUST READ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 10 pgs., 1/24/00
    http://www.geocities.com/pwaxen/dreams.htm

  10. ELEMENT OF LOSS by Vaxen
A transporter accident leaves Voyager without a captain and a Borg desperate to reclaim her partner no matter the consequences. This tenth addition to the ELEMENTS SERIES is highly emotional with a poignant depiction of the Janeway/Seven relationship. - 9 pgs., 1/24/00
    http://www.geocities.com/pwaxen/loss.htm

  11. ELEMENT OF TRUST by Vaxen
The Janeway/Seven relationship is tested when Voyager encounters a strange energy form that may force Seven to take control of the ship...away from her Captain. Vaxen does a nice job here exploring the relationship dynamics under stress. This is the eleventh installment in the ELEMENTS SERIES. - 10 pgs., 1/24/00
    http://www.geocities.com/pwaxen/trust.htm

  12. ELEMENT OF FEAR by Vaxen
The 12th entry in the ELEMENTS SERIES has Voyager experiencing a devastating loss when the Captain and Janeway visit a strange planet once devastated by the Borg and now hosting only a pre-industrial, superstitious race. Vaxen's latest features an original storyline with a number of twists certain to keep you on the edge of that seat. - 10 pgs., 1/24/00

**FEAR AND HOPE by G.L. Dartt
G.L. takes a break from her JUST BETWEEN SERIES to write a delightfully entertaining first time story set just after the episode HOPE AND FEAR (review and synopsis of the episode by a Trekkie named Jim Wright available at http://www.treknews.com/ deltablues/hopeandfear.html) which finds the captain of Voyager offering to assist Seven in her efforts to understand humanity, and getting MUCH more than she bargained for when the young Borg loses her heart for the first time to...some member of the crew ;-) G.L.'s uncanny ability to capture the characterizations we see in the TV series, seamlessly integrating them into somewhat different situations is once again evident in this story which gives us a very vulnerable portrayal of Seven of Nine in a story with just the right mixture of drama, humor and passion. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - 25 pgs., 11/28/98

**FOUR-PIPS CLUB (THE) by Tenderware
Fanfic fans will sense something DISTINCTLY familiar in this delightful new offering from Tenderware which has the Captain discovering a secret ring of...writers among her crew - all apparently writing elicit stories about her. Unnerved to no end by the discovery, Janeway investigates further only to soon find herself intrigued by the stories and even moved by them - particularly one series of tales penned by a mysterious "AH" who shows a poignant vulnerability and insecurity despite seemingly knowing her commanding officer quite well. Funny and sweet - this is a romantic fantasy come to life. DO NOT MISS! - 19 pgs., 8/18/01
