GETTING LISTED IN THE BETA READERS DIRECTORY

If you're interested in becoming a beta reader for either Xena or Star Trek Fan Fiction and would like to be listed in the directory first please read the document SUGGESTIONS FOR BETA READERS just so you know what's involved and how beta reading works in general. If after reading that document you're certain you can contribute the time and commitment then e-mail me at lunacy@dc.seflin.org with the following information:

REQUIRED INFORMATION:

1. The username and e-mail address(es) you would like listed.

2. Any REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES you would like listed - it's a good idea to be honest here and specific with regards to what you are willing and are not willing to read so that you don't end up receiving stories that are not your cup of tea. If you don't indicate any requirements or preferences I'll simply include a message saying that you're willing to read any type of fanfic. PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOUR SEPARATE REQUIREMENTS FOR XENA AND STAR TREK FANFIC. If you simply want to read one or the other type of fanfic but not both that's fine. In either case I need specifics about what you're willing to beta read. If you want to read both Xena and Star Trek fanfic please send me the specifics in sections like this:

3. List any references you feel might make you a valuable beta reader. You don't have to provide these but it helps bards who may be looking for specific things in a beta reader. References in this context can be anything from professional degrees, to experience in writing or editing lets say, to simply having been a viewer since the series began (means you're familiar with the history of the characters and the collective storyline so far which to a bard who is a new viewer may be very beneficial).

4. If you'd like to include a quote concerning your feelings about beta reading, fanfic or the TV series include that as well in your message.

PLEASE BE ADVICED THAT I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO EDIT THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE ALTHOUGH I WILL GIVE YOU THE CHANCE TO APPROVE THE ACTUAL INFORMATION THAT IS LISTED BEFORE IT GOES INTO THE DIRECTORY.
