That crazy Australian had some free time on her hands again so thanks to MaryD there's a new Web site for Missy Good fans - THE DAR ROBERTS AND KERRY STUART FAN PAGE in honor of that beloved duo from Missy's TROPICAL STORM. I'm VERY happy to report that one lost story is lost NO more! Thanks to K.P. West, Karen Surtees and PruferBlue the uber story ALL I EVER NEED is now once again available. I've included its review below with the updated URL. We also have four new ones tonight and a whole slew of terrific updates including the conclusion to a very special story...

Returning to the Web, this first story by K.P West is a rather original uber piece set in the present day which finds loner Jaime Bennet unemployed and in need of physical therapy after she's diagnosed with a mysterious illness. Her existence becomes a predictable routine until the day a new physical therapist comes into her life sporting the most beautiful green eyes Jamie has ever seen...Nicely emotional storyline with a contemporary feel and a good treatment of a very serious issue. AFTERMATH: THE TREE OF LIFE by XWP Fanatic
Part seven of this story is now available. Set in the world of Xena the Conqueror we first met in the HERCULES episode ARMAGEDDON NOW, this OUTSTANDING tale has the ruthless empress holding a contest to try to determine what "truth" is...with dire consequences for the losers. Undaunted and despite having first- hand knowledge of the woman's cruelty, Gabrielle chooses to participate, driven by this stubborn need to somehow reach the ice cold heart no one else seems capable of breaching. It marks the beginning of a difficult journey for both of them as the Conqueror finds herself intrigued by the young upstart and Gabrielle finds herself suddenly a part of the empress' life - forced to join her on a campaign against the very enemy that helped to make her into the dreaded Destroyer of Nations. In this latest part the Conqueror's army meets Roman steel but it's the heart of a young bard that will decide the day. Very well written, with a fascinating premise and great characterizations of the Xena and Gabrielle from that alternate world, this one is GUARANTEED to keep you hooked. XWP Fanatic is particularly excelling here in the depiction of the Xena/Gab relationship giving it a gentle quality that is deeply captivating in light of the Conqueror's innate harshness. OF DRAG KINGS AND A WARRIOR PRINCESS by Susan Smith
Chapter 21 has been updated. This talented writer tries her hand at uber fiction this time around, producing a very different, very original contemporary story. Rosalind Olchawski considers herself a fairly ordinary college professor leading a fairly ordinary life - a life so ordinary and so bland, in fact, that recently Rosalind has started to wonder whether she's even capable of feeling that passion others seem to feel. It is a concern that is answered one evening when she accompanies a friend to a club and discovers in the startling blue eyes of a drag king the destiny she had been waiting for. In this latest update Rosalind faces some new ompetition. Very well written, with characterizations that are sensitively done, a twist of the uber theme and an intriguing storyline this one should keep you hitting that page down button. CIRCLE OF LIFE by Melissa Good
The conclusion is now available. Possibly more anticipated than the fourth season of XWP, this latest entry in Missy's beloved Xena/Gab series in a story which continues the tale from FESTIVAL but is actually set after the events in the episode FAMILY AFFAIR. Still recuperating from their recent ordeal, the warrior and bard are back in Amphipolis awaiting the birth of their child and treasuring their time together as never before. With Amazons visiting and word of friends and family in trouble, however, their tranquillity is short-lived as the two, reunited once again, prepare to face whatever life throws their way. Emotional and heartwarming, this final update marks the end of a long journey for warrior and bard and the beginning of a new one as together with their friends and family they welcome a new generation, reaffirming a love and commitment that will keep them together through the worst of times and inspire their children into the distant future. Missy's very special style is clearly in evidence throughout this novel placing the Xena/Gab relationship center stage and infusing the story with a unique blend of delightful humor, poignant drama and enchanting characterizations. If you want to treat yourself to the work of a master storyteller DO NOT MISS this story or any of the others in what is considered by many THE premier fanfic series in Xena fandom. A PRESENT UNDER THE TREE by Melissa Good
An update is now available. A wonderful Christmas surprise for the many Missy fans out there, this DELIGHTFUL follow-up to the extraordinary TROPICAL STORM finds Dar and Kerry feeling increasingly comfortable in their relationship as they enjoy the holidays and make plans for Dar's upcoming birthday party. It is a time for friends and family - for reflecting on the change their lives have taken - and perhaps even for taking more of those emotional risks...As usual Missy excels here in capturing the magic of the relationship between her two heroines. Set in Merwolf's home town, this uber series has a terrifically authentic flavor to it (and this is coming from a fellow Miamian so I KNOW ;-). Dar, Kerry and the entire supporting cast are extraordinarily well-drawn characters brought to life by some very skillful storytelling. One for the top of your MUST READ list, this Solstice gift gets my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION! For those of you reading this post who are not familiar with the term alternative (alt.), it refers to ADULT stories that add a romantic element to the relationship between Xena and Gabrielle, depicting them as more than just friends.
