Hey guys!

Some announcements tonight. There's a new Web site for XWP fan fic out there - BAERMER'S XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS FAN FIC featuring stories by this fantastic bard! GENERAL FICTION:

TO SLEEP, PERCHANCE TO DREAM by Palomine
Poignant tale that has Gabrielle trying to deal with a Xena who is depressed and suffering from some very bad nightmares. The bard doesn't quite know what the nightmares are about until the two encounter a figure from Xena's past - a young man who the Warrior Princess once tried to help because he reminded her of Lyceus - a young man who repaid his commander by betraying her in one of the worst moments of Xena's life. Palomine tends to write stories that could easily be made into TV episodes. This is one of them. A very nice read.

THE MOVING FINGER WRITES by Wolfgang McCollough
Unusual tale which has Xena and Gabrielle meeting up with a mysterious acquaintance from the warrior's past - a woman with unspoken connections to the gods who has reached for knowledge as yet forbidden to mortals and must pay a price for daring to do so.

LIVE TO TELL by Danae
Danae is one of those bards who observes an economy of expression in her writing - never giving away more than she should and making every single sentence count. This story is simply put - going to blow you AWAY!!!!!!! It is essentially a short vignette - a conversation between Xena and Gabrielle sparked by a little revelation the bard never intended to make but which could potentially have incredible ramifications for her relationship with the warrior. INCREDIBLY original plot in a story I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A hilarious little skit that has the mighty Xellen - Warrior Princess participating in a chat - answering all questions with unreserved honesty too! ;-) Very cute!

For those of you reading this post who are not familiar with the term alternative (alt.), it refers to ADULT stories that add a romantic element to the relationship between Xena and Gabby, depicting them as more than just friends.
