WARLORD DAZE by Katrina
A somewhat different warlord/slave story that will likely get that pulse racing...fast ;-) With Xena back in warlord mode, a determined Gabrielle enlists the aid of friends to help her get back to the warrior's side. One slight glitch though - Xena doesn't seem to remember her so to stay near Gabrielle is going to have to convince the Warrior Princess that she's her personal slave...attentive in every way. Well-written and intriguing. Note: this story contains light S&M.

AMONG FRIENDS by Katrina
Chapters 3-7 of this story are now available. This is a sequel to Katrina's delightful MATCHMAKER (reviewed 7/16/97). As it begins Xena and Gabrielle are thoroughly enjoying the time after their joining ceremony while the queen's two Amazons consorts, are busy with a fire of their own ;-) Soon enough, however, both couples are faced with the challenges of running the Amazon nation and with the challenge of trying to understand the gifts given to them by the gods upon their joining.

Meet Zina, a tall raven-haired beauty on a Harley who is at the right place and the right time to save a young strawberry blonde when she's attacked on a lonely Arizona road. On her way to L.A., a grateful Bree finds herself fascinated with the leather-clad biker but soon realizes she may not get a chance to learn more about the stranger. In this latest installment we learn more about Zina's past.

For those of you reading this post who are not familiar with the term alternative (alt.), it refers to ADULT stories that add a romantic element to the relationship between Xena and Gabby, depicting them as more than just friends.
