Hi all,

There must be a BURST of creativity going around!! Several TERRIFIC new stories tonight. Those of you who like alt. fic are in for a virtual love fest!

THE SUNNE IN GOLD by Nene Adams

AND I THINK OF HER by ZeaBR> This is possibly the most SENSUAL piece of fan fiction I have ever read. Depicting a moment of passion and deep emotion, this vignette is so beautifully written that it reads almost like a poem. It calls to mind the deepest longings of the human soul to love and be loved. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

HELPFUL TRAVELERS by StarWarrior
A follow-up to StarWarrior's earlier stories WHO HAS THE RIGHT? (review at https://lunacyreviews.ausxip.com/lunacy81297.shtm) and THE LOST WARRIOR PRINCESS (review at https://lunacyreviews.ausxip.com/lunacy62897.shtm), this tale has the warrior and bard encountering the young sister of the man who held Gabrielle captive weeks back - a sister desperately trying to save her brother's life...and his soul. Convinced by her bard, a reluctant Xena agrees to help as they embark on a journey that will recall horrors of the past and challenge love to once again triumph in the face of evil. This series is developing very nicely. It is well-written and features strong characterizations. Particularly nice is the very tender and loving relationship between Xena and the Gabster. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

FOREIGN INFLUENCES by Oversoul
Chapter 6 is now available! This is an EXTREMELY well-written, beautifully romantic epic which has Xena and Gabby finally admitting their feelings for one another and then joining forces with Athena and two friends from the Far East to fight Ares. Raven and Katrina - the characters from the Far East are wonderful. Oversoul's writing is among the most passionate of the alt. writers. In this latest chapter, Gabrielle and the Amazons battle their way toward Athens where Xena fights a battle of her own. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Previously reviewed 5/26/97.

For those of you reading this post who are not familiar with the term alternative (alt.), it refers to ADULT stories that add a romantic element to the relationship between Xena and Gabby, depicting them as more than just friends.
