GODS' HOPE (THE) by TZ
TZ brings us yet another interpretation of what may follow SACRIFICE II in this tale which has a miserable Gabrielle learning from Hades about the role she played in a plan conceived long ago - a plan which has now taken her from her beloved warrior. [Part of the A SACRIFICE FOR LOVE SERIES] - 10 pgs., 7/13/98

**GOD'S WORDS (A) by Okcimoron
This is a WONDERFUL first offering from a very promising new bard. Set just after the events in the episode THE FURIES, the tale beautifully integrates elements from that episode into the narrative in effect creating a more complete and very well-thought out story. Staying in Amphipolis to recuperate from their recent ordeal with the Furies, Xena and the bard are each faking a calmness neither feels. Unable to remember some key moments from her days of insanity, the warrior fears the worse while Gabrielle, remembering every instant, wonders if it was Xena's heart she was privy to or just her friend's madness.Part of the story's undeniable appeal is the delightful sense of awkwardness in the relationship. These are two hearts very much in love, taking that love to a new level and gaining from it the courage to trust...and surrender. A romantic tour-de-force certain to warm that old ticker :) VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 33 pgs., 2/18/98

**GOING HOME by T. Novan
Xena and Gabrielle deal with one of the more bittersweet episodes in their lives in this latest entry in the RAISING MELOSA SERIES, as they return to Poteidaia so the bard can be with her ailing father during his last days. **GOLDEN CHALICE (THE) by TZ
Yeap folks - TZ bats a homerun with this fourth, very nice, very playful, very erotic new piece. Set in an establishment dedicated to satisfying the wildest of fantasies, the tale has Gabrielle looking for a kidnapped princess in hopes of impressing her partner...and discovering instead much more than she ever bargained for ;-) A fun read that celebrates both the passion and the love between a warrior and her bard. DO NOT MISS!! - 9 pgs., 7/20/98

**GOLDEN HAIR AND THE THREE URSAE: A XENAVERSE FAERY TALE by Nene Adams
These faery tales of Nene's just keep getting better and better! This latest one has Xena in the role of storyteller as she shares with Gabrielle the story of how she once disguised herself in order to steal a fabulous jewel from the three best...and most dangerous thieves in Greece. The lengths the warrior had to go to in order to achieve her objective will have you grinning from ear to ear! HIGHLY RECOMMNEDED! [See XENAVERSE FAERY TALE for other titles in the series]. - 4 pgs., 4/5/98
