I'm including a SPECIAL SECTION tonight for those fellow STAR TREK VOYAGER fanfic fans.

GENERAL FICTION

FAITH by Onora
Very well written, emotionally gripping story that has Xena and the bard going after a cult using children as blood sacrifices. With Xena distracting the cult followers Gabrielle successfully liberates one of the intended sacrifices, returning the child to her village. Certain that the warrior will follow soon as she cleans house with the cult, the bard grows more and more concerned as times goes by without Xena making an appearance. It's a concern that will soon turn to desperation as Gabrielle finds herself still having to help the villagers fight the cult members even as she agonizes over Xena's possible fate. Meanwhile, a physically and emotionally tortured warrior clings to the one thing that is a constant in her life - an unshakeable faith in her partner and in the strength of will she knows is so much a part of the young woman. This story features good action sequences, strong characterizations, and a solid depiction of the Xena/Gab friendship. DO NOT MISS! - 42 pgs.

Mischievous little offering set amidst the repeating day in the episode BEEN THERE, DONE THAT which has the Warrior Princess recognizing some definite advantages to reliving a day over and over again. Nicely written and very cute! DO NOT MISS! - 7 pgs.

Those two crazy dolls are at it again in this sequel to THE INCREDIBLY TRUE ADVENTURES OF TWO DOLLS IN LOVE which finds the boastful Warrior Princess certain that she can seduce any straight doll much faster than her slow sidekick can. Accepting the challenge, posable Gabrielle decides to teach the warrior a lesson. It's a situation that ends up giving the ex-warlord doll nightmares but does manage to help her get in touch with that oh-so-rigid inner self ;-) There are some lines in this story folks that MORE than make the reading worthwhile. An adorable new entry that should be attempted only with liquids well away from that keyboard. DO NOT MISS! [Note that story comes in two parts] - 5 pgs.

LONGING (THE) by Protek
Parts 2-3 are now available. The newest entry in the INFINITY SERIES begun by Redhawk, this new story finds the immortal Xena of Amphipolis remembering the time she first escaped from her self-imposed exile in the jungles of the Amazon to embrace the world again. It was a juncture that would take her to Europe and then on a long sea voyage headed to the United States aboard a majestic liner on her maiden voyage in April 1912. Protek successfully presents here the mixture of past and present that are common to stories in the INFINITY SERIES and that were a hallmark of the HIGHLANDER TV series on which the series is partly based. Particularly timely given the current interest on the specific liner featured here, this tale has great potential. [unfinished] - 10 pgs.

You are cordially invited to a very special ceremony as Kathryn Anne Janeway, Captain of the Voyager Starship, and Annika Katrine Hansen, formerly of the Borg collective at last exchange wedding vows :) G.L.'s latest is an absolute gem in a series that simply could NOT get any better. After experiencing heartbreak and joys and facing the many challenges destiny has thrown their way, Janeway and Seven culminate their relationship in a blissful union among their Voyager family. On their honeymoon for a week courtesy of the crew's generous donations of holodeck time, the two then immerse themselves in their passion for one another strengthening a love that just continues to grow greater with time and giving new meaning to the familiar frustration of a lost remote control ;-) Hold on to that funny bone because parts of this story are gonna SERIOUSLY stress it. G.L.'s latest is beautifully romantic, often hysterical and always charmingly entertaining. Her characterizations of the Voyager crew are remarkably like those of the TV series while the Janeway/Seven relationship is depicted with a level of trust and frankness that is incredibly appealing. An exceptional treat for your MUST READ list folks - this gets my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION! [This is the fourteenth entry in the JUST BETWEEN SERIES] - 41 pgs.

CAUSE AND EFFECT by G.L. Dartt
In a sequel of sorts to FEAR AND HOPE, Janeway, Harry and Tom are aboard the Delta Flyer on their way back to Voyager from an away mission when they encounter a mysterious turbulence. With no damages and only a slight disorientation, the three go on their way docking with Voyager shortly afterwards. Anxious to become reacquainted with the beautiful Borg who has shared her life for the past eight months, Janeway wastes no time in finding the young woman and doing just that only to realize later that the Seven of Nine she's just ravished is not quite the same partner she left behind some days before. Meanwhile, in another reality, a very happy Seven of Nine greets her beloved Janeway with a passionate kiss only to discover a stranger standing there who looks like her partner and sounds like her but has apparently forgotten the love they've shared. Poignant and funny all at once, this latest challenge for the Voyager crew offers a glimpse at those paths not taken and for one captain and one Borg opens a world of possibilities as well. Another terrific effort from one of the top talents in fanfic today. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 41 pgs.
