The site, by the way, was created by another one of our own - MaryD :)
CONGRATULATIONS TO MISSY!!! Glad the world out there has started to recognize that storytelling gift those of us in Xena fandom have treasured for a while now. She's still delivering her outstanding Xena fanfic too as noted below :)

DARK COMES THE MORNING by Melissa Good
Part seven is now being posted. Here we go again folks on another spectacular ride into what is undoubtedly the most-loved vision of Xena and Gabrielle in this fandom as Missy picks up the story of the warrior and bard almost a year after the events in CIRCLE OF LIFE. Enjoying the new addition to their family, Xena and Gabrielle are happy seeing their daughter grow and spending time with friends and family but there's a restlessness stirring within them also as the bard finds herself craving those quiet times she used to spend with the warrior on the road, and Xena works to keep her active mind challenged. It's a restlessness that soon finds an outlet when refugees begin to arrive in Amphipolis from neighboring areas prompting Xena and her partner to go do a little investigating in a decision that will herald the return of a terrible darkness into their lives. In this latest part the warrior and bard think back on their transition into parenthood. There's a level of understanding, love and devotion in Missy's versions of these characters that adds a terrific sense of warmth and intimacy to their every interaction. Already in part one this story presents a captivating combination of gentle humor, poignant drama and suspenseful intrigue certain to intensify in the chapters ahead under the guidance of this master storyteller. Make this one a regular stop in the weeks ahead. It gets my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION! [unfinished] - 9 pgs.

BLOODLUST by Protek
Part two is now available. A follow-up to Protek's THE LONGING, this newest entry in the INFINITY SERIES has Xena and Rickie investigating a gruesome series of murders showing the telltale signs of a vampire on the loose. Having never met a real vampire in her two thousand years on Earth, the ancient warrior rather doubts that's the answer but the bloodlust evident by the murders do remind her of an all-too-human monster she once met centuries ago called...Prince Vlad. In this latest part Xena continues the story about her encounter with Vlad even as she continues tracking a modern day killer. Well-written, Protek's latest does a good job of capturing the feel of this always intriguing series but be warned - if the opening of this story doesn't make you squirm you're a much tougher customer than I am! [unfinished] - 9 pgs.

FROM THE HANDS OF ROME by Absinthe
The conclusion is now available. Absinthe's latest begins on board a ship as Xena and Gabrielle head for Egypt and a meeting with the legendary Cleopatra. It's a fateful trip that will present Xena with the much-awaited opportunity to exact revenge on an old enemy. In this final part Xena thinks about her instincts toward violence while Gabrielle encourages them to go in search of answers for them both. Absinthe does a very good job with the depiction of the Xena/Gab partnership in a storyline exploring similar themes to those recently addressed in the TV series. - 20 pgs.
