**UNDER OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES by IseQween
In an EXCELLENT stand-alone hurt/comfort story that recalls the Xena and Gab of season two, the warrior and bard help a group of villagers discover the source of an illness that has been plaguing them. In the process, however, that illness touches our two heroines forcing Xena to revisit a nightmare from the past as she enters into an agreement that may be Gabrielle's only hope and a chance for the warrior herself to perhaps atone for some of those sins from her past. IseQween's Xena and Gab share a casual, playful intimacy that is thoroughly engaging. There are also two women who know each other better than they know themselves and feel a mutual devotion that runs bone deep. This is a heart-warming, beautiful story that comes VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 35 pgs., 2/7/00
