  A HUGE congratulations to veteran Xenite talent a href="https://lunacyreviews.ausxip.com/Missy_Good.shtm.htm">Missy Good on the publication and growing success of her first original novel, TROPICAL STORM.   Added the EXPERTS DIRECTORY and the UBER-XENA FAN FICTION CONTENTS GUIDE to the library's shelves.

  Also added a href="http://members.xoom.com/SKYT/funxena/">STELLAR'S XENA RELATED COMIC STRIPS to the X:WP FAN FICTION ART section. Maintained by Stellar, this site features Xena-related comic strips that have appeared in commercial magazines as well as strips produced by fans, a nice blend of fanfic and art.

• COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS
  I've added a Comments and Suggestions form for those of you who'd like to request additional features or comment on the existing ones or make any other suggestions. Links to the form will be available from the main page and through the bottom template on most of the other pages. Any comments made will be e-mailed directly to me. I'll try to answer any specific questions and/or acknowledge receipt of your message but please be adviced that this pesky 24 hrs-in-a-day thing we live with sometimes prevents me from answering all my messages.
• HIGHEST RECOMMENDATIONS Index
  This is a new addition to the site listing all the stories and series which have gotten a HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION from me. The term "Highest Recommendation" is the most searched-for phrase in both of the search engines available through the main page so I'm hoping this index will save people time. Not sure if I can create an index for some of those other "terms" you guys search for ;-) ...but hope you find this one useful.

• A LOSS TO THE FANFIC WORLD
  Fanfic author a href="https://lunacyreviews.ausxip.com/Kristian_S_Fischer.shtm.htm">Kristian S. Fischer, a reservist in the Danish armed forces, was in Denmark awaiting a possible deployment to Kosovo when the military vehicle he was in crashed, instantly killing him and three other soldiers. This bard shared with us some fine stories and will be sorely missed by those of us in the Xenaverse. On behalf of fanfic readers everywhere, our condolences to his friends and family.
• ALERT
  Veteran fanfic talent a href="https://lunacyreviews.ausxip.com/Quest.shtm.htm">Quest has announced her retirement from Xena fanfic. For now Quest plans on leaving her stories available on the Web but does not guarantee those will be available long term. • UBER-XENA FAN FICTION CONTENTS GUIDE
  A new feature at the site, this guide consists of a series of tables which break down uber stories by title, author, pairing, time period and location. Visitors can now access this guide from the main page or from any of the pages containing uber reviews. The guide is intended as a tool to help readers identify uber tales they may want to read and locate favorites they've read in the past. Before using the guide make sure to read and HEED the Spoiler Warning at the top of each of the files. Also make sure to take a look at the file How To Use The Uber-Xena FF Contents Guide - a link to that is also featured at the top of each of the files.

• Changes To The Site
  Effective today I have changed the name of EVERY file at the site with the exception of the file for the main page so the web addresses of all those pages have also changed. The main page remains at the same URL (http://https://ausxip.com/.com). However, users who've bookmarked one of the other pages should now go to my main page and use that to visit and RE-bookmark any of the other pages they regularly use because the file extensions on those will have changed from .htm to .shtm. I made these changes to the filenames in order to make the maintenance of the site easier. For additional details on that read the notice for webmasters below.
  

  I've also broken up the 37 files containing the reviews of alternative stories because those files were getting much too large. The alt. reviews are now available in 161 smaller files which should load quicker in your browsers and will leave room for more reviews to be added in the future. The alternative reviews now feature additional templates at the top and bottom of the files to make navigation easier.

  ATTENTION WEBMASTERS: If your site contains links to any of my pages those links will no longer work after these changes I've put in place today. If you only link to my main page then you're fine because that URL has not changed - but links directly to the review pages or the author pages or any of the various resource pages will require updating. I've prepared a separate file with more technical details about the changes and suggestions on how to go about changing your links - particularly if you have lots of links that will need updating.
